Itty Bittys are a fun plush toy by Hallmark which take on some of the best-known characters, in teeny tiny form. As the collection has started to grow, Hallmark got in touch to ask if Jake would like to review his choice of characters. With a large range including Disney, Star Wars, Snoopy, Scooby Doo, The Flintstones, just to name a few, he jumped at the chance to choose some and as soon as he spotted the Marvel range he was over the moon!
We have passed the Peppa Pig stage (thank god!), we have left Paw Patrol behind, Power Rangers were his latest obsession but now even those have been slightly forgotten about because the other week he just happened to stumble across The Avengers on Netflix. Since then, I have watched the film almost every day (and Googled A. Lot. so I could understand everything!)
He just loves getting dressed up as the superheroes whilst it is on and now he has his own mini versions in the shape of these cute, soft toys.
We were sent Captain America, Iron Man, The Hulk, Spiderman and Antman.
And just look at that happy face when he found they had arrived after pre-school…
Of Course, we immediately had to set about playing and the first thing Jake wanted to do was get dressed up and become each Avenger and act out scenes from the film.
Iron Man flew all around the house… those Itty Bittys sure can fly well! He saved a few people, made quite a noise and mess before Jake decided it would be much more fun to climb the walls as Spiderman. Quick outfit change and voila…
We weren’t familiar with who Antman was (sorry super fans but Marvels have never been one of my things… it is now!) but sure enough, Netflix had that film too so now I am very clued up on all of these characters! I’m sure that will be the next dressing up outfit I will have to buy (that and Captain America).
Luckily for Jake, his auntie had just bought him the Hulk dressing up outfit…
Which meant that everything was being smashed that afternoon! (Mini Hulk helped).
It is safe to say that these have been a huge hit and I am finding them all over the house where he has been playing and messing around with them. Because they are so soft and small they are perfect for little hands and I am a big fan of any toy that is small enough to live on a shelf!
The Itty Bittys can be found over on Amazon for £6 each and there is a collection suitable for everyone. Better yet, why not enter my competition to win a superhero set of your own? We have Superman, Supergirl, Catwoman and The Flash up for grabs, just enter below and one lucky winner will be selected at random after closing on 09/04/18. Good luck!
