School is fast approaching (sob) and we have been very busy these last few weeks with school rhyme time sessions, parents evenings, planning our route and preparing Jake for leaving his preschool friends and making new ones. I think he’s fine… it’s Mummy who’s not! One of my biggest mental hurdles I need to overcome is the idea of doing a school run 5 days a week, we can just about manage 3 at the moment and with William trying to get moving it could be a bit of a juggle come September! However, I need to get my organisational head-on and start thinking about buying his new uniform, PE kit, pencil case, shoes, waterproof trousers and wellies (they are very outdoorsy at the school). One thing I no longer need to worry about are the name labels for all of these things because My Name Tags have kindly sent us 2 sets to see us through.
My Name Tags offer 2 types of name labels for your child’s belongings. You can choose from their iron-on name labels for clothing or hassle-free stick-on name labels which can be used on clothing, bags, pencil cases, drinks bottles and so much more. They are completely washable and will even survive the temperature in the dishwasher, which is why we opted for this type.
My Name Tags say:
Since we started in 2004, we have focused on making the absolute best nametags possible. Some of the things that we are proud of are:
Our 10-year washing guarantee is unmatched in the name tags industry.
Our almost 100% customer satisfaction rating is also unmatched among label companies.
We have been independently tested to have the best labels in the UK.
Our colour sticker labels stay on clothing better than any other labels we know of.
When I went onto the website I was really surprised to see the options available to design your name labels. I sat and had a go but I knew Jake would love to create his own so I waited until the next day to show him what he could do. I thought it was important to get him to do this because he is the one who has to see the labels all the time at school and it was also a nice way to talk about the changes that are about to happen in his life.
Being the boy he is, he was very excited to be able to sit on Mummy’s laptop and click through the background designs, icons and choose the colour of the text.
It was so easy to do and as children are pretty good at knowing what they like he was done in no time and demanding I ordered them straight away!
I was really impressed by how quickly they arrived too. I thought they would take around a week but they were on my doormat within a couple of days which meant I could finally label those items that really needed doing for preschool… near the end of term, oops!
One sheet contains 56 name labels which is more than enough for all those little items. I even did his Little Kickers kit. They peel off as easily as stickers and you just place them straight on to the item. No ironing, no sewing, no writing, just quick and easy…
I am now very organised and have the rest of my name tags ready for when I buy his uniform. Parenting win! (I will just put to one side all the other bits I need to think about right now!haha)
Because I know there are plenty of you out there also thinking about this next step I asked My Name Tags if I could offer up a set for one lucky reader to win… and they agreed! So, if you would like to win a set of the stick on coloured labels just enter the competition below. Good Luck!
