As it’s common with all travelers, leaving Milo without exploring the many beaches would be a crime.
It wouldn’t be a trip to Milo without visiting Sarakiniko, a vast formation of stark-white rock formations on a beach with deep blue waters. Sarakiniko is the most beautiful beach in Europe, and people get the thrill of cliff diving.
This is a stunning village adorned with old churches, museums, and quaint cafes that allow you to sample Greek cuisine. The village is atop a cliff, thus offering you breathtaking views, especially in the evening.
Milos was initially a mining and fishing town; thus widely recognized for its rich mineral wealth. The museum preserves its artifacts, chronology, and anecdotes during that period.
Explore the Aegean Sea with a clear kayak that allows you to explore the gorgeous cliffs, hidden beaches, and caves. Get a guide so as not to stay aware of the situation.

During your family trip, if you want to experience Naxos authentically during your family trip, explore the Old Town. The Town has many winding cobbled streets. You also get to see the impressive Venetian Castle and enjoy breathtaking views. And remember to get trinkets for your friends back home from the gift shops and boutiques. And make sure to sample some of their street foods.
If your kids are into Greek Mythology, the Temple of Apollo should be on your itinerary. It’s a pretty easy walk and best taken in the evening when you can see the sunset and take some beautiful pictures.

You can also visit the Temple of Demeter, which boasts too much of Greek history. However, this venture is suitable for older kids as you will have to climb about 100 stairs. For those kids seeking adventure, you can take them hiking, as there are lots of trails ideal for beginners and experienced hikers. The most suitable hiking trail for kids is Mount Zas Trail which is about 5.6km and takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete.
Crete is situated on the southeast mainland and is one of the largest islands in Greece. The island boasts beautiful mountains, stunning coastlines, idyllic villages, archaeological sites, and megalithic structures.
This volcanic land oozes charm and tranquility suitable for adventure-seeking families as it offers unique experiences. And don’t forget the yummy and freshly sourced seafood and locally produced olive oil wine.

There are many beaches in Crete where your kids can have much-needed fun. And this includes Elafonissi, Balos Lagoon, and Falassarna. And if your kids are great swimmers, you can go snorkeling or charter a clear kayak, venture out in the water, and marvel at the wonders of sea creatures.
Kids are curious creatures, and there is no doubt they’d have much fun in the museum learning about the history of the Greek. Therefore, visit museums in Crete, such as Lychnostatis Open Air Museum, where your kids will learn about traditional Cretan life through their traditional buildings and artifacts.
You can also visit the Greek National Football Museum and Heraklion Archaeological Museum.
Kids are fascinated by marine life, so ensure they visit the Aquaworld Aquarium, where they see local sea life and reptiles.
For a more relaxed and winding down activity, visit the Botanical Park and Garden. The park occupies about 20 hectares of land and contains trees from across the globe, herbs, medicinal plants, and fruit trees. Rhodes is one of the most popular destinations for those wanting to explore culture, history, and natural beauty. This Greek Island is home to various attractions that can be enjoyed by all ages, from families to couples or solo adventurers alike.

You can start by visiting the Village of Lindo, situated on a hilltop and encompassed by a picturesque bay, St. Paul, and a pristine beach. This fishing village is popularly known for its history and natural beauty.
You can also visit the Acropolis of Lindo, an ancient ruin with several ancient structures, such as the Doric Temple of Athena Lindia, The Castle of the Knights of St.john and an amphitheater. While here, you can marvel at the fantastic panoramic views of the Aegean Sea and the fish village. The entrance fee is $9.64.
Being an ancient town, your kids get to ride donkeys as it’s the major form of transport.
If your kids love water sports activities, they can try windsurfing, kayaking, swimming, wakeboarding, and kitesurfing at the various beaches. Other outdoor activities include mountain biking, trekking, horse riding, and jeep safaris.
Kids love eating, so don’t forget to enjoy Mediterranean cuisine by visiting traditional cafes full of flavorful dishes and seafood delights. Sample the famous “taramasalata” fish roe dip created recipe passed down for generations.
As we said, kids love swimming, and if you want to relax, take them to the largest water park in Greece, WaterPark Faliraki. It is located uphill, allowing you to take in awe-inspiring sea views while relaxing in the sun beds as your kids play on the water slides. Of course, this will have them worn out when you return to the hotel, guaranteeing you a night free of disturbances.
Kids love animals, so visit Farma of Rhodes Petting Zoo, where your kids can play and feed lovely animals, such as donkeys, ponies, ostriches, and goats.
The Astronomy Café is a kid’s dream as it allows them to marvel at the wonder of the sky as you eat and drink. They have an observatory with a telescope where you view the different planets and stars. And the images are so vivid. It’s best to book online as there is a queue and the sessions are about 30 mins. The staff at the café are friendly.
Corfu is a serene Mediterranean gem located off mainland Greece. The island is beautiful and boasts mountains, lush landscapes, olive groves, historical & cultural monuments, and clear blue crystal waters. The most popular place to visit in Corfu for families is Corfu town, where you can see old buildings, churches, and fortresses.

This monastery is dedicated to the Holy Virgin, a stunning building standing firm on a hill that overlooks the Ionian sea. It’s the perfect place for kids who love history. While here, you can buy their homemade honey and take in the beautiful flowers.
Don’t skip the aquarium; your kids will be amazed by the marine life, such as eels and octopuses.
If you want to know the history of Corfu, then take a tour of the Achillion Palace and the Museum.
Even with the beaches, kids love water parks. So take your children to Aqualand Corfu Water Park for a day of fun and splashing. The best part is it has sections for kids of all ages, and kids below four years get free entry. Book your tickets online.
