BrassBox Personalised Wooden Chopping Board Review

brassbox wooden chopping board review

*Gifted Product

If you know me you’ll know that I love wooden products, I love something which has sentimental value, I love anything that is personalised of us as a family and I love beautiful bits for my home. So, when BrassBox asked me to review their personalised wooden chopping board it ticked all of the boxes!

It also really helped that we are in the process of updating our kitchen and hubby has been sorting through what we need to replace, what else we really need and organising where everything will live in order to save space but to also look nice at the end.

Who is BrassBox?

BrassBox is a brand spanking new company who are still in the very early stages of launching. Their workspace is now built– check out some of their progress on Facebook– and they are taking pre-orders of their stunning lines of personalised products which includes cheeseboards, chopping boards, Christmas Eve boxes, Christmas decorations, ornaments and so much more!

BrassBox state:

“BrassBox was founded from a desire to create and produce distinctly unique and personalised items for the home. It became clear that the ordinary, everyday item could be made extra special by adding a touch of magic through personalisation. The only limit to what BrassBox Gifts can create is the imagination of the designers and of course, our customers!

Using advanced Laser technology, completely unique items can be created quickly and accurately. Customers can choose from our large array of products available on our website which can also be customised with personalised messages. Or if they prefer, personal artwork or photographs can be incorporated into specific, one-off pieces.

Our Laser machines are capable of cutting and engraving most materials including paper, cardboard, acrylic, wood, slate, stone and coated metals which means that customers can choose not only the perfect design and finish but also the perfect base material.

Our aim is to create beautiful, bespoke items that can be treasured by recipients for years to come, or indeed to make a special event a touch more memorable. We make products for weddings, christenings and birthdays that ensure your event is unique.”

The Review

I was offered a stunning handmade wooden chopping board with our family engraved into it for review. Only thing is, it is far too beautiful to use!! As soon as it arrived through the post and I carefully unwrapped the white gift paper, I knew this would need to be featured in our kitchen as a decorative item once it is completed. I showed my husband, who is the cook in our house and he completely agreed… and he loves a good chopping board!

I never thought I would get excited about a chopping board but I did describe it as beautiful when I filmed my Instastories. I am one for quality and the wood, the detail, the design have all been carefully chosen and you can see this will last. Not only is it functional, it is also decorative and at the moment it is taking pride and place on my kitchen worktop but we are planning on finding a spot on the wall to show off our new kitchen once it is completed.

I have already been having a sneak peek at their other creations and there is plenty of inspiration on both their Facebook page and Instagram for Christmas gifts so please do go and check them out as soon as you can in order to get your products in time.

*I received the chopping board in exchange for this review. All opinions remain honest and my own.
