It is hard to name the best sandy beach in the Cadiz area. However, let us learn about the two most popular locations.

La Caleta Beach

La Caleta Beach must be number one on any traveller’s list if they decide to explore sandy beaches near Cadiz. The beach is conveniently located within the old city centre and has seen many historical events. It used to be a port for the Romans, Carthaginians, and Phoenicians.

Nowadays, travellers can enjoy its marvellous seaside and swim in the warm and transparent local waters. Besides, windsurfing and sailing are popular activities due to favourable wind patterns and smooth waves.

Playa de La Cortadura
