With Halloween behind us, it is now the time to think further ahead to Christmas. I’m not usually very organised but this year I decided to make a change and ensure that I don’t leave it all until the week before. I have struggled with knowing how to treat Christmas since I had Jake on this day in 2013 but now that he is showing us how Christmas crazy he is I can accept that the day can be equally celebrated for both him and others. It is time for me to fall in love with this time of year all over again.

As a child, Christmas was always a magical time of the year. My family would go all out with get-togethers, decorations, food and gifts. We had a real tree every year, we would visit all the family and have the most amazing Christmas dinner cooked by my Nan.
