It has been found to help prevent heart attacks and strokes, lower blood pressure and protect against neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s.

Wine is a natural grape product used to treat and prevent many health conditions for centuries. A study published by the American Heart Association found that drinking a glass of red wine per day reduces your chances of having a heart attack by 30%. Another study published in the journal, Circulation, found that those who drink red wine regularly have lower blood pressure levels and are less likely to have heart disease.

Red wine contains nutrients called anthocyanins which are known for their anti-inflammatory properties, which can help fight against seasonal colds and flu.

Improves Heart Health

A number of studies are on the side of red wine lovers. American Heart Association published an article that back-stated the relationship between drinking a moderate amount of red wine and reduced risk of premature death from coronary disease.

Improves Blood Flow

Grapes are certainly a blessing of nature due to the array of healthy nutrients they contain. Resveratrol, for example, is a powerful antioxidant that has a number of health benefits, including keeping your blood pressure under control.

Whole red grapes used in making red wine also contain procyanidins, compounds that promote heart vessel health. But, too drinking much alcohol can have the opposite effects and lead to hypertension, arrhythmia and similar. Therefore, moderation is the key.

Rich in Antioxidants

A study by Oxford University’s Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine looked at the medical literature published on antioxidants in red wine and found that it can boost our physical fitness, protect us from cancer and improve skin health and complexity.

Keeps You Young

Drinking red wine can also protect your skin from developing wrinkles and ageing. The antioxidants in red wine can help improve collagen production, making it more plump and smooth. Red wine also protects hair from being damaged by free radicals or environmental factors such as smoke, pollution or cosmetics.
