Of course, the aftermath of the pandemic has played a role in this gradual increase, with numbers not quite close to 2019 levels just yet, but it’s abundantly clear that Africa is a continent firmly on the rise.

Perhaps when we think of Africa, our first thoughts turn to South Africa – the ‘rainbow nation’ that gave the world such magnificent historical figures as Nelson Mandela and Archbishop Desmond Tutu. Many of us will also remember the wonderful World Cup of 2010 which was the first on African soil.

Jibhi is a captivating tiny town located in the Tirthan Valley of Himachal is blessed with dense forests, serene freshwater lakes and revered temples making the place a must-visit. Mcleodganj in Himachal Pradesh is a tourist attraction known for its Tibetan culture, ancient temples, and nature treks situated in the Kangra district on the periphery of Dharamshala. Spiti Valley located at an elevation of 12,500 feet is a terrain with snow-covered mountains and a cold desert. Bir Billing in the Kangra district boasts of its paragliding sites and is also known as the “town for meditation. Khajjiar located in the Chamba district is a beauty with its lakes, forests and pastures and a friendly place for camping in the wild.
