Why should I Get a CityPASS For New York?
*Collaborative Post
There’s so much to do, to see and take in when you visit New York. From excursions to events, the list can seem somewhat endless. However, you could make it easier on yourself to narrow down attractions when there is a financial incentive. A CityPASS could help you to discover different aspects of New York City, without needing to think about booking lots of different tickets or attending on a specific day.
Ease of ordering
Booking your New York citypass can be incredibly easy. You can do so online, and have the tickets for the numerous attractions sent directly to your email. Planning your activities this way can allow you to spend less time worrying about itineraries and specific timings when your trip actually arrives and enjoy being in the moment instead!
It can be a good idea to store this email in a separate folder, to make sure you always know where to find it, as well as your tickets. Ordering online can also be safer, as you may then have the assurance that the website you are using is a legitimate provider. Due to the issues surrounding scamming, doing a brief background check on any site you plan on using, or even a physical store you want to buy from can give you a little extra peace of mind.
Avoid the queues
Some attractions may be significantly more popular than others. When visiting the Empire State Building, as an example, you may find you have to wait in line for quite a while to simply purchase your tickets. Luckily, this attraction is included within the CityPASS, meaning you won’t have to worry about that queue. Instead, you can go straight to security, who may want to check your bag before allowing you entry. This may be a standard protocol in place for all, not just tourists, due to the events that occur throughout the world. Avoiding the ticket queue can enable you to have more time in the event itself without needing to rush, especially if you wanted to watch the sunset atop the observation deck.
Longevity of the pass
When you order your CityPASS, you can have up to nine days to use the tickets. This may be ideal, especially when research has found that a holiday should be between seven and eleven days in length to really allow you to enjoy it and unwind. Having the tickets for this period of time means there may be no rush to try and do everything on the first day. This can allow you to relax and settle into your accommodation, and get over the stress of flying before you venture out into the city. These tickets, other than having a deadline, can be used at any point during that time, so you may also not need to book specific events in advance.
Going to New York can open up a lot of opportunities for you. Whether you plan on travelling for work or leisure, knowing you have the freedom to attend different trips and tours can help you to make the most of your time.
