Get Christmas All Wrapped Up With The RSPB

a selection of Christmas gifts and crackers

*Gifted Products

Yes, I said it. Christmas. I’m not usually one to say it quite so early but what with numerous birthdays beforehand (as well as one on the day itself!) I have decided that this year is the year I get organised and on the ball well in advance. As a busy Mum of 2 now, I can’t leave it all to the last minute anymore and I don’t want to be rushing around when we could be enjoying the run-up to the big day by visiting Grottos, going to Christmas Fayres or even to one of the many stunning winter wonderlands that are on in our area.

So, with my planning brain in gear, I have been on the hunt for Christmas gifts for the whole family and I was really surprised to discover how much the RSPB catalogue has to offer. If you are sitting here thinking it is all just oven gloves with birds on, you will be completely wrong! From gorgeous scarves to classy handbags, pretty mugs with on-trend prints, garden accessories and fun activities for the kids as well as Christmas crackers, cards, wrapping paper and tree decorations, you can get Christmas all wrapped up with one shop!

So, when the RSPB asked me to look through their Christmas lookbook I had a really tough job choosing because I loved so much of it and there was plenty I wanted to order just for myself! However, I restrained the urge to treat myself and selected 5 items for Christmas gifts and entertainment.

Here are my top Christmas RSPB gifts choices from their catalogue for my family:

For Him

My Father-in-law is really into his birds. He lives in the countryside, owns chickens and has bird boxes and feeders scattered around his large garden. He loves spotting the different species and has a good eye for identifying them all. So, when I saw the RSPB’s stunning bird box it was a no-brainer. I chose this beautifully crafted open-front lodge box as it is very different to your usual birdbox and is perfect for birds such as Robins, Wrens and Pied Wagtails. Who doesn’t love seeing a Robin in the garden in the winter?

For Her

I have so many women to buy for and I am a huge fan of buying with them completely in mind. I don’t like just buying a standard typical ‘woman’s gift’. I want that woman to feel special so I won’t ever settle for second-best.

My Mother-in-law loves luxury but she is a very busy lady, always cleaning and gardening, sewing and crafting and looking after her 4 Grandsons. Her poor hands go through the mill so I wanted to find something to help to repair her skin and to give her something that will provide a little self-care. This Victorian Flora Hand Therapy Set was just perfect for her needs. The organic essential oils should help to balance and nourish her skin, alleviate any dryness and all without using any harsh chemicals.

My sister is incredibly hard to buy for. I always have to set aside a little more time to find something just right for her and because I always do quite a good job I end up having to beat my standards the next time! She loves clothing and accessories and quality which is why I just knew that this beautiful Teal Metallic Oak Leaf Scarf was going to be one of her main gifts this Christmas.

For Kids

I think it is so important for children to be interested in wildlife and the environment and the RSPB have so many great products to encourage this that it was so hard not to get it all! They offer puzzles and toys, bug boxes and binoculars, magnifying glass and games. After a lot of thinking I decided to opt for a gift that is not only fun but also educational and one which will come in very handy now he is at school. The Frog Slap Band Watch is going to make him very happy because telling the time is something he has been really focused on recently.

For Christmas Fun

I could not resist going for these fantastic Penguin Christmas Crackers because they each have a racing penguin inside!! How amazing is that?! Just imagine how much fun we are going to have around the table after our Christmas Dinner.

Please do go and check out the rest of the RSPB gifts on their online shop because each time you treat one of your loved ones, you will also be helping this charity.

  1. I love the RSPB christmas book this year. I have ordered the same body set as you for my nanna and a big searching kit for my godson. There really is something for everyone.
