Happy Beaks Garden Bird Essentials Review and Giveaway

Attracting more wildlife to our garden has been something that we have been working hard on for the last few years. Owning a reasonably new home, it is common for areas to become nature depleted for a time after construction, yet even though we moved in a few years after the build and added a better lawn, more plants, bushes and even a tree, we still weren’t happy about the lack of wildlife we were attracting here. So, we went a little further. We added a pond made out of a planter, we increased the number of plants, we stopped making the garden “super tidy” and left leaves/twigs on the ground for longer, we started taking part in ‘No Mow May’ and we began to feed the birds – just a little seed at first in bowls and then fat balls in a wooden feeder and then we moved onto mealworms and even built a little wooden house feeder for the smaller bird varieties. Another pond was built, this time a small wildlife one within our flower bed and little by little we saw a change. Our visitors now included more birds, a hedgehog, dragonflies, damselflies, butterflies, hummingbird moths and more. Our garden residents suddenly included a frog and a nesting pair of blackbirds who last year had 3 broods in our tiny garden and who have returned this spring to do it all over again – and we are over the moon. Our garden has finally sprung to life and I am still eager to further increase the wildlife here, and thanks to Happy Beaks, I can now take the next steps. Oh, and if you stay until the end you could be able to as well by entering the giveaway!

5 Triceps Stretches for Tight Muscles

*Collaborative Post

Upper arm pain can be a sign of triceps soreness, which can be relieved with stretches. The triceps muscle is an important muscle for upper-body strength, and keeping it loose and flexible can help prevent injury and improve overall performance. In this article, we’ll discuss five triceps stretches that can help relieve tightness and pain.

Before starting any stretching routine, it’s important to warm up properly. This can be done with brisk walking, light jogging, or jumping jacks. Doing so will help increase blood flow to the muscles and prepare them for stretching. It’s also important to remember that stretching should not cause pain. If you experience any discomfort, stop immediately and consult a doctor before continuing. These stretches are not a substitute for professional medical advice.

8 Tips to Get Your Kids to Eat a More Diverse Diet

*Collaborative Post

Asking a child to eat a new food can trigger a dinnertime battle. Understandably, they want to stick with the foods they love, but you can get your kids to eat a more diverse diet with a few simple tricks. Try these tips to give your family a healthier diet without fighting them over each bite.

1. Ask Them to Help Cook

Kids get more engaged with their meals if they make them. Consider your children’s ages to give them appropriate responsibilities while you’re cooking. If they understand how the food gets on their plates, they won’t feel as nervous when trying something different.

Young kids, like toddlers, can mix batters or sauces while older kids chop veggies. Watching simmering pasta or setting the timer for your casserole could be enough to make young ones feel engaged. The new veggies and fruits will seem less scary because they prepped them.
