My blog is my business so it seems only right to have a category to cover this. I began my journey of writing by writing my book which led to my blog and I love to share tips and experiences I have learnt along the way. I think it is important to share these because we were all at the beginning once, with no clue, no idea how to do certain tasks and being able to rely on others’ expertise can be invaluable. I have learnt so much since my blog became my business, there are so many things I wish I’d known three years ago but if it means I can now help others I’m glad I can jot these things down to help. I cover topics on writing, blogging, self-publishing and working from home.

You probably picture yourself waking up refreshed and relaxed and preparing a healthy breakfast with the kids before heading to your home office, an unused bedroom you’ve redecorated to create the perfect working environment. At lunchtime, you’ve got time to pop out for lunch with your best friends and gossip about the latest news in town before heading back to pick up the kids from school. I love a fresh start. Writers know the continual difficulty of finding inspiration, thinking of new avenues for their work, and breaking through the usual creative blocks. To get through this, some alternate methods of success might be the best way forward. One of the best and most permanent methods of inspiration is heading abroad. Sometimes, you need to head outside of the box to think outside of the box.
