lazy bear foldable bum bags in field

Review | Lazy Bear Recycled PET Foldable Bum Bags

As a busy family and dog owners we are never seen out and about without some sort of bag but what I realised during the summer months was that it started to become quite tiresome always carrying one. There wasn’t any way we could get around it, not with a potty training toddler, the warm weather (meaning we needed water) plus long walks where we’d need snacks so we just got on with it but I was then asked by TrendHim to review some of their Lazy Bear recycled PET Lawson grey and red foldable bum bags and they have been a complete gamechanger.

I have been working with the wonderful SaveMoneyCutCarbon all year and each month I get the opportunity to talk to you about different eco products that could help to save the environment whilst saving you money. This month I have had the chance to focus on just one brand, one I haven’t ever tried before, so it has been really nice to be introduced to it and to find that there are even more amazing eco companies around. Here is my review of their Ecozone products…

When it comes to choosing eco-friendly kids toys, there are plenty of options on the market and many of us are aware about the importance of choosing durable, ethically sourced, sustainable ones over the plastic fad items but have you ever thought about your children’s play mat? Did you know that most are made from EVA or PVC both of which contain plastics and toxins? The Non-Toxic Play Mats by Pure Earth Collection are a far more eco option. Made only from natural sustainable plus biodegradable rubber and cork these are an ideal choice and we were sent a Rocky Road Play Mat to review…

Rydale Clothing Review

*Ad

When it comes to finding clothing I have several items I always want to be able to check off a list: that it will last, that I feel comfortable (as a busy Mum we all need this), that it will wash well, that the company uses ethical practices/factories, that they give back and think about our environment. Having moved away from fast fashion stores, I am always on the lookout for better places to shop at and when Rydale contacted me to review some of their clothing I was really excited about what they had to offer…

wild deodorant on a white background with small flowers placed around. 1 larger pink flower in top left corner

Wild Deodorant Review

*Information correct at the time of writing this review. In 2025, Wild was bought out by the (unsustainable) company Unilever so you will need to do your own research into this. I no longer support Wild due to this fact.

Finding a sustainable, plastic-free, natural deodorant has probably been one of the hardest parts of making my lifestyle more eco-friendly. I have tried many brands over the last couple of years and I find that they either don’t work at all, they are messy to apply or they have dried my skin out so much that it has cracked and become extremely painful. I needed a product that was in the middle ground. One that could work on my sweating but wasn’t hard to use. I’d heard great things about Wild deodorant from other people so I thought I would give it a try and here are my thoughts…

bambino mio review

Bambino Mio Review

When we started looking into cloth nappies, it was very overwhelming. There were many brands, different types of nappies, a lot of terms, and as somebody who had used disposables with her first child, I had a lot to learn. Thankfully there are some cloth nappy brands out there that can make this switch really simple by being manufactured to be quite similar in style to disposable nappies and this was why I confidently took our first steps into the cloth nappy world with the all-in-one Bambino Mio. In this Bambino Mio review I will provide everything we have experienced in using them, how they fit, absorbency, care and our overall thoughts.
