Don’t Stress New Mama, You’ve Got This!

The step into Motherhood is an exciting one, it’s what you’ve been waiting for, for 9 long months but what happens when the baby arrives and it’s not all warm cuddles and a cute sleeping bubba? It can be far harder than any of us imagined but as a new Mama we all just have to get on with it. Preparing Your First Child For The Arrival Of Your Second Child

Preparing your first child for the new arrival can be a daunting task, mainly because you can’t predict how they will actually react once the baby is here. We were lucky with our first because he adores babies and he as he was three when I fell pregnant, he was very switched on to everything that was going on; so much so that he guessed I was pregnant before we even told him! However, this didn’t necessarily mean that it would all be a bed of roses once the baby did come which I always kept in mind.

Packing Your Hospital Bag

*Gifted TENS machine

Packing your hospital bag is usually something you can end up leaving until the last month or so but in my case, I have just chosen to frantically pack mine now (with what I have to hand) as I have now been told twice this week that my baby seems to be getting himself into position, which with all my issues recently I am not overly surprised. If he doesn’t come naturally I will more than likely be induced a little earlier anyway so now is the time to plan, prepare and get my head around the fact I will probably have a baby this year and not next year!

How Pregnancy Brings on a Whole New Wave of Mum Guilt

As if we need to feel more Mum guilt eh… Who’d have thought that pregnancy could bring on a whole new wave of it?! Well, it can and it has for me.

The first trimester wasn’t too bad. I was being physically sick and everyone could see the toll it was taking on me. I was off so many foods, I couldn’t keep much down and I could barely stay awake. Jake had twigged that I was pregnant before we even told him and he took on a good

The Baby Show

The Baby Show Experience

*Gifted Tickets

On Sunday I was invited along to The Baby Show at London Olympia. When I was pregnant with Jake we didn’t do any of the big baby things; we didn’t go to NCT, we didn’t go to baby shows or expectant parent evenings and my general attitude was to take things as they came and learn on the job. This is fine to an extent but when it comes to gadgets, new products, items that will make your life easier, I had no clue which is why I was so excited to be able to attend a massive show like this one.
