Review | Evening Primrose Oil From Epsilon Life

*Paid Collaboration

I am not new to Evening Primrose Oil and actually took it after finishing my breastfeeding journey with my first child, Jake, because one big problem decided to hit me like a ton of bricks– PMS.  I’d never had too many issues in that area prior to becoming a Mum but I guess everything went a bit haywire after pregnancy and my hormones didn’t seem to want to settle back down to normal levels. At the time, I took the initiative to do some research on what could help and I stumbled across the benefits of Evening Primrose Oil which included helping women through PMS issues. I went on to find a great balance with the other remedies which included reflexology, exercise, relaxation, and I thought I had it all sussed.

Masha and The Bear Race To The Tree House Game Review And Giveaway!

*Gifted Product

Have you heard of Masha and The Bear? Have you seen the show? If not, it is about a little girl who goes into the woods to basically terrorise a bear. Think Looney Tunes style. There’s very little words, lots of music and a lot of slapstick fun as well as infuriating moments where you wonder things like where are her parents? Why doesn’t the bear just move? And why does she like annoying him? Answers that will never be answered!! But it makes Jake roll around with laughter so it’s obviously spot-on for kids.

In my bid to make my life far more eco-friendly, I am always on the lookout for anything that will help our planet. Whether that is making a small swap like using bars of soap, reusing shopping bags, taking my own bottled water out or bigger things like switching to cloth nappies and reusable wipes, every small change is for the better. One area that is always going to be tough is not always buying new. I have made the step towards checking pre-loved sites more and learning which charity shops have the best turnover of stock but there will always be items that I am not willing to purchase secondhand or which may not be available. With this in mind, I have to learn to shop as eco-friendly as I can, I have to choose better quality items that will last and can then be passed on once we are done with them and I need to look into how those items have been produced. I know that this may sound a bit much but in our current climate, we all need to be more responsible when it comes to our lifestyles.

eco-friendly coffee pods from coffee & Kin

Review | Eco-Friendly Coffee Pods From Coffee & Kin

*Gifted Products

On my ever-growing quest to find more ways in which to be more eco-friendly, I hadn’t even considered the coffee pods that my husband was using in his new Nespresso machine. It’s amazing where plastic can lurk and even though they do offer a recycling service I am always a little sceptical about these things as the energy used to recycle, the carbon emissions created by delivery and collection all seem to outweigh the good that you think you are doing. So when Coffee & Kin got in touch to tell me about their compostable pods I jumped at the chance to review them.

finding childcare with childcare.co.uk website

Review | Finding Local Childcare With Childcare.co.uk

*AD

It’s come to that time in our lives where we need to start thinking about the possibility of childcare for William. He is almost 2 now and come next year we will be looking into pre-schools but just recently I have been wondering if he needs a nursery setting sooner? He is a very active little boy and with my workload increasing, I am constantly trying to juggle a lot and seem to be working every evening now due to my days being filled with activities with him. Finding childcare seems like a sensible option but I wasn’t too sure where to start… But then Childcare.co.uk got in touch to tell me about their website.

Beat That! game on the table

Review | Beat That! The Bonkers Battle of Wacky Challenges

*Gifted Product

One of the great things about being a blogger is having the opportunity to discover brand new products, games, toys whilst also getting the chance to meet the people behind the scenes. So, when I attended a blogging conference the other weekend, I was very excited to see what had recently come to market and there was one stall that really stood out to me (mostly because they were incredibly fun, enthusiastic and had bloggers joining in from the off!) Zak and Kate are a young, married couple who came up with their very first game, Gutterhead, in 2017 which completely flew off the shelves. Since then they have put all of their bubbling enthusiasm into their business, Gutter Games, and into creating more games with their latest being ‘Beat That!’ – which was actually dreamed up on their honeymoon. It has only just come out this September and is the game which they were showcasing to us at Blogon and the one they kindly asked me to review for them.

*Gifted Product, Amazon affiliate links

I recently attended a blogging conference where I was fortunate enough to speak to lots of different brands and see some of their new products that are coming or have just come to market. One brand which I have previously worked with on a Toy Story Puzzle Review, Jumbo Games, was there and as I am a big fan of getting my children into playing games and away from the electronics, I am always eager to see what they have come up with. They did not disappoint! As soon as I mentioned that my blog had taken more of an eco angle, the PR was right on it and he presented me with this beautiful collection of games in cardboard boxes. I may have got a little excited at just the boxes! You see, the boxes are made from 100% recycled materials…
