The countdown is on to my holiday which means my mind is turning to planning my clothes, travel products and my skincare travel essentials. I don’t want to take too much as we kinda had a weight issue last year (the bags you understand, not me!) and I certainly don’t want to repeat that mistake. However, I do still want my luxury items and everything that will make me feel good. This is why I am so pleased that Carly from Beeutiful has travel-sized pots of her magic skincare treats!

Review | Beeutiful Valentine’s Day Gift Box

I really love Valentine’s Day, I love the fact that we celebrate loving one another and I love that myself and my husband always make the effort to have a nice dinner at home, followed by profiteroles and he always buys me wine and flowers. What I don’t like about the day is the abundance of tacky presents in the stores, the giant teddies, the heart-shaped balloons and generally anything that’s a bit cringe.

Review | Coral Reef Waterworld, Bracknell

Coral Reef Waterworld was our favourite place for swimming when Jake was younger. I would happily drive the 40 minutes from Basingstoke to Bracknell to enjoy the fun of the pools, jacuzzi, rapids, pirate ship, slide and so much more. I loved it because it was the warmest pool I had ever visited which is always important when you have babies or small children, they provided armbands, the entire pool was open (unlike our local Aquadrome which doesn’t seem to think that opening every area is required for some reason?) It was always very clean and it had a lovely restaurant to grab some lunch in after our swim. It was well worth the drive up there, so you can imagine my disappointment when they announced they were closing for a year for refurbishment.

Review | Getting Christmas Ready With Magic Santa Letter

Christmas is coming and when you have children it means it gets all that little more exciting, doesn’t it? I’ve found that with each year that Jake has got older, Christmas has become so much more to him (obviously it is also his birthday) and I am loving finding new ways to make it even more fun! Last year, we were lucky enough to be asked to review ‘The Truly Magical’ Magic Santa Letter so when they got into contact again this year I was so happy. With 2 little boys to think about now (I know, one is a baby but I’m all about the nostalgia!) I want to make these occasions as memorable and special as I can.

Yes, I said it. Christmas. I’m not usually one to say it quite so early but what with numerous birthdays beforehand (as well as one on the day itself!) I have decided that this year is the year I get organised and on the ball well in advance. As a busy Mum of 2 now, I can’t leave it all to the last minute anymore and I don’t want to be rushing around when we could be enjoying the run-up to the big day by visiting Grottos, going to Christmas Fayres or even to one of the many stunning winter wonderlands that are on in our area.
