The Clever Cactus CSP and Liners Review

*Gifted Products

I’ve been a fan of The Clever Cactus for a while now and have previously purchased several items from her online store including baby wipes and reusable water balloons. The funky prints and great eco-friendly ideas really stood out to me and, as you know, I love to support a small local business, so I was absolutely thrilled when Steph messaged asking if I would like to be a brand ambassador for her. This is the first of my reviews for her and we have kick-started our collaboration with me trying out her CSP (cloth sanitary pads) and liners range.

My First 6 Months As A Vegetarian

I did it. I made up my mind and at the start of the year, I just went for it. I became a vegetarian. It is something that has always been in my mind because I love animals but as a fussy eater, as somebody who was brought up on meat and not having anyone in my immediate family who was a vegetarian it just wasn’t the norm when I was growing up. And I think that is the problem with a lot of things in life, isn’t it? We just follow what the norm is. If somebody had said to me that the only way for me to eat meat was to kill it myself, I would have become a vegetarian years ago but it’s all made too easy for us. We go to the shop, there it is all packaged up, not resembling an animal whatsoever and we end up being completely detached from where our food comes from and the processes it has to go through to end up on our shelves.

How Semi-Vegetarianism Can Help To Save Our Planet

Saving the planet is most certainly at the forefront of a lot more people’s minds and as we all learn new ways to adapt, find new ways to reuse items, work on reducing our waste I know that most of us are still asking ‘is this enough?’ It can be hard to answer this because it isn’t something we can all measure and what isn’t much to one person may be a big change to another. I am all for the message that if everybody made one simple sustainable change in their lives it will have a big impact. But whilst we are focussing on plastic and rubbish, single-use items and litter picking, what about the bigger picture? Your carbon footprint.
