The Perfect Reusable On-The-Go Products from Net Zero Company

*Ad

I love finding new ways of reducing our plastic waste, living more sustainably and producing less waste. I have the baby/toddler bits sussed now, I have managed to significantly reduce plastic bottles in the bathroom and our kitchen area has many eco-products used in it now so my next steps are to work out where else in our lifestyles we can make positive changes. This year we are taking part in the 1000 hours outside scheme which encourages more activities outdoors and getting in touch with nature rather than being sat inside in front of a screen and this made me realise that we needed more on the go products to help us to be outside all day without the need of buying packaged food items or disposable items such as cutlery and cups so when I saw Net Zero Co’s On-The-Go Reusable Kit it was just the perfect solution.

Which Reusables Can Help You Through The Coronavirus?

*Contains Amazon Affiliate Links

Well, um, where do I start, eh? It all feels very surreal right now. I have literally just returned from a shop where people are grabbing the toilet rolls that have just come in and then frantically asking the staff when more is coming. I saw a man wearing a face mask and a woman wiping her hands over and over with a disposable wipe in her car after shopping. I must admit, I did feel quite calm knowing that I was buying washing powder so I could go home and wash my reusable nappies and wipes and that under my bed I have enough Who Give’s a Crap toilet roll to last me around 3 months or more! Being more eco-friendly seems to have its benefits during a crisis

How To Drastically Reduce Your Wash Loads Each Week

How much washing people do has been a bit of a topical point on social media just recently hasn’t it? And it all started with the stories of people using their towels just once and then washing them. I was left speechless. Was this really a thing? Do people truly believe that wiping down a clean body with a clean towel then makes it dirty? I mean, surely it is just such proof that society has gone germ mad? We wash clothes far too often, Dettol sell a product that claims to remove 99% bacteria from your clothes in the machine, you can buy chemically based products to rid your machine of these germs and it is encouraging the public to really believe that everything is covered in germs that must be banished!! But what are the effects of these actions?

Review | Nurture Collective’s Box of Love

*Gifted Products

Nurture Collective is a gorgeous ethical online store run by a like-minded eco-conscious Mum, Miriam. Having previously worked in busy London, she went from being a high flying executive to Mum and suddenly found that her perspective on life and our planet had shifted.

“I suddenly felt complete, and yet along came with it a deep and burning desire to love to protect and nurture this incredible creation! It all started with Yasmin’s baby products, wanting them to be chemical-free and then it quickly progressed to her baby clothing and I felt that my eyes had been opened to a realisation of all the processes our products and clothing goes through even before it ends up in our hands.”

Nurture Collective Website

Everything this shop stands for is important to me; natural, sustainable, ethical, recyclable, handmade, UK made… the list goes on, which is why I knew that working with them was the perfect fit for us both! And with Mother’s Day just around the corner what better time to review their gorgeous Box of Love.
