As a busy Mum of 2, I am always promising myself I will take better care of my body and general well-being but in reality, life can be just too much of a juggle and it’s not until something really happens that I sit up and take notice. That something just recently was my back giving in. As in, I was busy tidying up in the house one minute and laying flat on the floor the next! I’d known there was some tightness in my back and hips, I was very aware that each time I stood up my pelvis took some time to align and I looked like an 80-year-old woman, yet, I put off seeing anybody because I simply did not have the time. Such an excuse, isn’t it? If that was one of my children I would have found them help as soon as they told me something was hurting, but because it was me, I just left it. Luckily, not long after, The Massage Company got in touch with me asking if I could pop along and review a massage at their Camberley Centre. What perfect timing!

My Sustainability Aims for 2020 Blogger Tag

With sustainability being a topic that has become a larger focus both in my life and on my blog, I’m always trying to think of new ways in which to spread the message that being more eco-friendly isn’t that hard at all, giving tips on how to achieve it and to make people realise that anybody can do their bit no matter how small… And what better way to do this than with a blogger tag post? 7 Parenting Hacks For Squeezing in Some ‘Me Time’

I think I mention ‘me time‘ around 10 times a year and am always focussing on how to find the time, trying to arrange a babysitter or working out how to balance it all but what if you could have ‘me time’ around the kids? What if you found that time during the daily routine and without having the stress of feeling guilty for it? Well, you can! Yep, I have learnt that life cannot always be organised, that illnesses crop up and ruin plans and that trying to plan in that time solely for me usually never actually happens so I have had to come up with other ways of taking care of myself whilst taking care of my boys. Why Absolutely Anybody Can Be Eco

Being more eco is really starting to catch on and the little eco-warrior inside of me is doing a very happy dance about this! But there are still so many more people who could be doing more yet don’t feel they can do due to the way in which being eco is sometimes portrayed. It’s not about being entirely zero waste, you don’t have to completely overhaul your lifestyle, you don’t necessarily need to start growing your own veg and you definitely don’t have to start throwing out all the plastic toys you own. You don’t have to stop driving altogether, you don’t have to turn vegan and you certainly don’t need to live in a log cabin out in the woods!

When we were looking into buying a new washing machine, the Samsung eco-bubble immediately came to my mind. I’d heard good things about it and the fact that it also had the eco function, meant we would also be saving water.
