Attending The Grand Opening Of Mighty Claws Adventure Golf

*Gifted Tickets

We were recently invited to attend a VIP grand opening of the new Mighty Claws Adventure Golf in Hedge End, Southampton which we jumped at the chance of going to as we knew Jake would have a blast playing crazy golf for the first time.

Located at Hedge End Golf Centre, Mighty Claws Adventure golf is the latest to be built with the other two sites at Bournemouth and Colchester. The theme of the Adventure Golf is all based on fun dinosaur books written by author Nat Luurtsema who also attended the grand opening.

Review | Getting A Comprehensive Hearing Test With Leightons

AD- Review in collaboration with Leightons

Since having my children there have been a few things that have started to, well, er, go wrong with my body. The greys, the bags under my eyes, the bad back and most recently my eyesight– thanks relaxin hormones! So, when Leightons got in contact to ask if I’d like to go for a hearing test my first thoughts were ‘oh, that sounds great’ and my second thoughts immediately went ‘oh, no, please don’t tell me I’m going deaf too?!’ Well, there was only one way to find out and I was really interested to know so I agreed to pop along to my local branch here in Basingstoke to undergo a comprehensive hearing test.

I recently attended a blogging conference in Manchester which not only held amazing sessions to help us to learn more about certain aspects of the job, it also provided an opportunity for brands and PR’s to connect with us all and I was lucky enough to meet Nicole from Ziggle. I was immediately drawn to all of the gorgeous baby products and accessories on her stall but when I saw funky raccoon leggings I was in love! I also thought you guys would love this range too which is why I wanted to collaborate with Ziggle in order to bring together a review combined with a giveaway for you all.

Review | Make My Blinds

The main thing I have hated about our kitchen diner in the last few years has been how dark it is. We opted for dark flooring, furniture and blinds when we first moved in 8 years ago and it never really crossed my mind that the space would feel so gloomy, I just liked the idea of not having any marks showing up. We brightened the walls up with yellow for the kitchen end and green in the dining end but it never really brought it all to life which is precisely why we decided to start the overhaul back before Christmas with the aim to add storage, update it and brighten the entire room. So, when Make My Blinds contacted me to ask if I’d like to review some from the extensive range online, I couldn’t say no!

Visiting Clearwater Marine Aquarium

Of all the things we got up to whilst in Florida, one of my favourite days was our visit to Clearwater Marine Aquarium. This is not your typical aquarium, which, for me, is perfect because I really am not a fan of animals and creatures being kept in captivity. The Clearwater Marine Aquarium is a rescue centre and has taken in thousands of injured or orphaned sea life over the years, rehabilitated them and released those that are able to survive in the wild.

Review: Getting Beach Ready With UK Swimwear

*Gifted Item

Getting beach ready can feel very different once you become a Mum, can’t it? I mean pre-kids it was all about the skimpy bikini, exfoliating, waxing, painting your toenails but these days it’s more about getting the right fit, making sure those boobs stay in place, finding something that won’t cut into those wobbly bits and most definitely getting a swimsuit that will last.

With my holiday coming up I was wondering what type of swimwear to go for so when UK Swimwear contacted me to review one of their items I was very excited. I’d already had a look at their website and loved so many designs which are a far cry from what I had been previously looking at on the high street. There were just so many options. Did I go for a swimsuit, a new bikini, a kaftan? It took quite a while to make my final choices and even then I had a list of options!
